G&L Auto Repair & Recycling (“G&L Auto”, “we”) operates glauto.ca. This page explains what information the site collects and how we use it.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use a request form on this site you give us your name, phone number, email address and whatever you tell us about your vehicle. We use it to reply to you and to carry out the service you asked about. We do not sell it or share it with anyone except the tools we use to receive and respond to enquiries.

Usage information. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information about visits (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed) to keep the site running and secure. If we use analytics, it is to understand how the site is used in aggregate, not to identify you.

Embedded maps. Our contact pages include a Google Maps embed. Loading it sends your request to Google under Google’s privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details while we deal with your request and for up to 12 months afterwards, then delete them from the website. Work orders and invoices are kept separately as business records.
